One of the best hotels we stayed in. With great views over Kandy. Almost the same standard hotel you would find in London. Even a lift. Beautiful swimming pool.
Located at a very convenient place, the room was very clean and spacious.

Old hotel needs renovations. Room safe not working - hot water becomes lukewarm for the second person in the shower.

We organized an event in Hotel Devon, Kandy and the location is good and close to Kandy. Staff is very friendly and they helped to arrange the event. Prices of Hall charges and food were reasonable.
We stayed for two days. The staff was very polite and friendly. However their lift has a very foul smell, their doors did not have a lock, doorbell didn’t work, people could see through the washroom windows and bathroom was very dated and coming apart.
Overall would not recommend or stay again.
I had a very bad experience in one of the 3 rooms. The other 2 rooms were ok. 3rd room where I was staying with kids had - poor ac, noisy fan, spider in the room. Probably because it was Christmas Eve and the hotel was busy they couldn't find any other room but that's no excuse to give
We ordered a Devon special at the restaurant and it was just not edible! It was as if a whole pot of pepper was simply dumped into the pan. We couldn’t eat more than 3 spoonfuls. We then had to request then to add white rice to mix it with, but even then we couldn’t eat it. Quality is super low and not worth the price at all!!!
